Bridesmaids

The hilarious chick flick, every woman should take her best friend to see.

The writers, Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo, are brilliant.  This movie has everything to make you smile inside for days…… Ridiculously funny script.

“Lillian” played by the super funny Maya Rudolf
“ Annie”, played by star and co-writer Kristen Wiig.
“Helen” played by Rose Byrne
Melissa McCarthy – who round out the cast as ‘Megan”

Picture this, an upcoming wedding;  A best friend, (Annie) who is a shoe in for a maid of honor.  A ‘new’ girl, Helen, who tries to move into the best friend spot, and a future sister-in-law, Megan, who takes no prisoners.  And, oh yes – don’t forget Vegas!

You will cry laughing as you watch the over-the-top antics of a plane trip to Vegas, wedding dress shopping and a wedding shower gone bad.

Bridesmaids is a definite ‘must see’.

Harold & Kumar: Escape from Guantanamo Bay

Part two of the famous comedy franchise "Harold & Kumar", proven worthy of honorable mention without hesitation. This film has a whole bunch of laughs and ridiculous scenes that puts the average high school/college student who enjoys 'herbal healing'; into stitches almost every time they view it.
If anybody has seen part one: Harold & Kumar Go to Whitecastle, they cannot say no to all the potential and expected hilarity of a sequel!
Let me comment on the cast of part two: Beside the fact that the leading characters compliment each others traits and behaviors, the supporting actors in this film are incredibly funny, very likeable, but also hated. For example, Rob Corddry, as the power-starving idiot government anti-terrorism agent who everybody thinks is a big a-hole, but we CRAVE his one liners that put us on the floor peeing our pants.
Another honorable mention within, would be Neil Patrick Harris. He plays himself in this film and portrays a reckless drunk, addict, and womanizer who lives within no boundaries. Just like characters NPH has played in other films or tv shows, he kills us with laughter in this film.

If you're looking for an outrageously inappropriate and slightly offensive comedy, this is an excellent film to watch when you're feeling like a lazy night on the couch with a funny movie. Go ahead and ask anybody who has actually seen this franchise. They might just start off their opinion by laughing briefly....watch.

Warning: This film has scenes with nudity, sexuality, drug use, and offensive content. Viewer discretion is strongly advised!!

Coming soon: Another Rob Corddry favorite!!!! ....Hot Tub Time Machine review

Sincerely,
EH

Anchorman: The legend of Ron Burgundy

Anchorman is about a news station based out of San Diego, California in the 1970’s. The comedy depicts four men that have positions at the news station and they are on top of the world, until a woman reporter comes in to shake everything up. The movie highlights the struggle that many working females had faced to move up in the business world around that time.

Nearly everything that happens in Anchorman: The legend of Ron Burgundy is absolutely hilarious and very memorable. Viewers of the movie find themselves quoting Anchorman on a semi-regular basis, especially around the time of its release in 2004. It is very impressive that a movie released just shy of a decade ago is still very popular especially amoung young people. With a side-splitting cast starring Will Farell, Christina Applegate, and PaulRudd to name a few, this cult classic will not disappoint, unless you are not a fan of Will Farell’s comedic style of course. If you are in a laughing mood this movie is a very good choice, with non-stop hilarity, and quotes that will leave you laughing so hard you might even have to pause the movie for a minute.
I’m in a glass case of emotion!!”…          “LOUDNOISES!”

These are just a few quotes from this comedy classic that are just as classic themselves, currently being used amoung young people quite regularly. It must be very gratifying to be someone who was in or worked on the movie and know how much you made people laugh and also the strong impression you left in viewer’s minds.

To sum up Anchorman is a must-see comedy in which Will Farell and his hilarious supporting cast gives a performance that will leave you laughing long after the movie has finished.
